Advocacy

10 Things you can do to help

1. Join a mountain bike advocacy group like the OORC.
2. Get involved with OORC lead trail work days.
3. Serve as a representative for mountain bikers with local parks and recreation board.
4. Encourage other riders to be involved with club events
5. Seek opportunities to be involved in partnerships and other programs, such as mtb patrols.
6. Sponsor an event with other user group(s).
7. Volunteer for one of the OORC’s three main events, Headwaters Challenge, Park to Park Ride, and the Eureka Springs Fat Tire Festival.
8. Get political.  Contact you city, county, and state representatives an tell them you want more trail riding opportunities in you area.
9. Take on a leadership role with the OORC.
10. Donate time, money, or materails to the OORC to help us reach our goals.
