  • 7.     Eureka Spring Fat Tire Festival discussion. The first 2008 Fat Tire Fest meeting was held on January 16th at Phil Penny’s house. Ira White, Phil, Dave Renko and Chad and Lisa Jenkins were in attendance. They reported that there are still debts left over from the 2007 FTF. This news was followed by a discussion of a budget for the 2008 FTF. Consensus was that the OORC will help manage this festival for 2008 and then look for another group or individual(s) to take over the festival for 2009. Ira and Phil will work with Dave to help manage the 2008 event and Chad Jenkins will manage the event budget. We will follow up with more discussion of the 2008 FTF at our next meeting. All event managers should attend this meeting and Chad requested that Dave bring a balance sheet or financial statement outlining the income and expenses from 2007.
