 The Ozark Off Road Cyclists are proud to lead the Park to Park Ride for the Devil’s Den Mountain Bike Festival April 6, 2008. This 20+ mile ride starts at Devil’s Den State Park and ends at Lake Fort Smith State Park. You’ll begin the ride at Camp A, ride Fossil Flats to the connection with the Butterfield Trail. You’ll climb up to Hwy 74, cross the road and descend down Holt Road to the connection with the Butterfield Trail again. You’ll descend down to Blackburn Creek and climb up Ben Doodle branch. From there we’ll drop down through the town of Chester and finish at the newly finished Lake Fort Smith State Park. Make sure to bring plenty of food and water. The OORC will provide ride leaders and sweeps. The is an expert level ride with very challenging terrain.
